Our lab recently inherited an Aquamax DW4 plate washer. This device is no longer supported/serviced by Molecular Devices (manufacturer). It did not come with the CD-ROM and we are wondering if this is required for the operation of the washer. We plan on doing very simple washes of 50uL PBS in a 384 well plate for an ELISA-like assay. We will need to order new buffer/solution bottles before we can run a test so any insight into this specific washer and its software requirements would be helpful.
