What can I use as an apoptosis inducer in ID8 cell lines that will not interfere with MTT or WST-1 proliferation assays? (all colorimetric assays)
Has anybody used heat? or ethanol?

Hey Abdul! I was thinking about an easy and fast method. Would it be the case? It's just for an assay validation.
Hydrogen peroxide H2O2, cisplatin, doxorubicin all should do the trick. Look up the literature to determine a good dosage for Ovarian cancer cells.

generally thera are no interference with colorimetric assay.
In the past i used doxorubicin as positive control in my MTT assay.

Heat will induce necrosis.
I would use etoposide, staurosporine or someting similar.
