I am wanting to create a manuscript on psychoanalysi, specifically personality and how the conscience itself may be the culprit behind personality changes. What if I stress of them ego mediating between the ID & Superego, it is subdued by the evil conscience and therefore interferes and changes their overall personality or at minimum causes mood changes?
I have written another piece on psychoanalysis outlining the origin of the conscience (ages 3-5) anx how it is a (variable) state opposed to (fixed) and more of (nurture) than nature based on logical understanding. Im now woshinv to look further into it and maybe combine the papers & create a msnuscript on more in-depth research and seek out if its possible that a conscience could consume a person to the point that their personality changes and if so could this be a factor for mood swings? Personality changes? Example, your on a diet, your ID caves to desire and pressures you to eat the cookie and its okay, the conscience on the other hand, reprimands you and calls you fat, inisting if you break it you will be a pig? Could this then be pressure enoygh that someone belueves they are a fat pig and become upset, resentful or even losthing over it? O

Indeed I understand it’s been a widely-contemplated subject, I’ve read some out of Harvard and I’ve had a little different perception, for example if Freud is correct and the “conscience” or superego is formed between ages 3-5– and we find it a (variable) state as it differs greatly person to person and especially culture to culture, the ID though is innate and upon birth babies are ID ridden, we believe babies are from “God” and we turn around and then display a (contradiction) as in its now unacceptable to seek the IDs behavior as an adult. Now, I’m wondering with things such as the Alter Ego and personality, could ones conscience consume them to the point of mood swings? Personality changes? Let’s say a persons on a diet and they break the diet and eat the cookie? The ID says go ahead, eat and enjoy! The conscience says, “you are going to be fat! You piggy! You ate it and now have to start all over!” What if some stop fighting or mistake these inner “voices” as outlined in psychoanalysis and it interferes with their personality & mood?

I also find that the KGB defector known as Nikolai Khokhlov wrote “In the Name of Conscience” and was of course an assassin that failed to kill an anti-communist leader, he was also versed and a part of the paranormal research and I’m also thinking/wanting to incorporate something with this, as I do in fact also see a link between psychoanalysis and psychokinesis or parapsychology work.
I’m totally open to ideas from persons either versed or interested in anything like this.
I know it may be a controversial topic, thought I feel has so much potential & may be significant for various things such as parapsychology, military capabilities, personality changes, nature vs. nurture. So I do see a lot of potential, one step at a time.

As the psychoanalytic concepts speacialy freud's over emphasized the role of unconscious behind all the matters of personality but it had almost ignored the fact that how conscious fabricate the daily actions.
@ Sara ideally preparing a manuscript fir submission for publication & peer review, id like to reciew potential publishers, im fond of the APA myself. So truly id like to consider co-authoring work on this and ideally lets publish with the APA, i know they do have journals specific for psychoanalysis, though they have others that also cover other aspects, once the manuscript is drafted we could certainly review ideal publishers accepting a manuscript on this topic.
@Amir, thanks for your input, i agree the aim of Freud was ideally emphasized on drawing out the unconscious mind oppossed to day to day functioning of the conscious mind. I feel that with more in depth research and addressing perhaps the benefits & outcomes of exploring the conscious vs. unconscious mind and how their roles may impact our behavior, personality & decisions. if you are talking about Freudian type of psychoanalysis then please provide your definition of "evil conscience" , when and where Freud was talking about it. In Freudian view all changes are coming from the area of unconscious to the area of conscious, not the other way around. Changes in personality after the puberty are highly unlikely, because the person is developed ( in Freudian concept of human development), and any behavioral change would not be necessary equal to the change of personality. Also, Freud did not operate with the term "change of personality", he would rather describe any psychopathology as "neurosis" that is usually resulting from repression of primary instincts and drives. I am not saying that your view is incorrect, Freud was and still is criticized in many aspects. His theory ( or theories) were developed through the years. So perhaps if you are referring to his concepts of Id, Ego and Superego and interaction among them - you can start from explaining how different you view is from the original view of Freud, why you believe he was wrong and how and why you are seeing your modern day concept. It might be very interesting
