I'd suggest debate on GMOs - pretty focused. Very different by country context, by type of GMO, intent of the GMO process, and local perceptions of relative risk.

Hi, if you are interested in in public discourses then you should consider a domain which are widely accessibly by public and non-biased. A few options can include the fifth domain (social media), public narratives and questionnaire. Institutional discourses such as parliamentary debates and editorial are partly reflective, in my humble opinion, of what the masses think and believe in as they are tied in institutional conventions and ideologies (unless you can get a balance number or opinions from all parties involved). Newspaper reports can also give a good reflection on the issues in hand, but again, you need to make constant checks and balances with the context and your research objectives. But again this will all depend on your ROs and methodology that you are employing.
