Renewed global interest in health-related stigma in recent years has led to calls for greater understanding of the factors and processes underlying stigma. But few empirical studies have explored the combined influence of structural discrimination (i.e. institutional policies and practices) and moral status on leprosy-related stigma in developing countries. In light of the global target of zero stigma and discrimination, we will like to hear from scholars who've explored the influence of socio-cultural context and organisational policies and practices on social responses to leprosy over time.
