From my research, CD34, VEGF-2, CD146 and CD45 (negative marker) is commonly used for mice and rat blood. However various articles use various combinations and other markers. Can someone point me in the right direction?
According to my experience, I believe that the combination of the markers you are using is very good! Howerer, you could also use CD133 and CD31. Finally, I am sending you 2 articles from good journals which may help you! Gook luck with your exepriments!
I am very satisfied with RECA-1 antibody. It's a specific rat antibody against endothelial cells. Unfortunately I am not sure if it's appropriate for circulating endothelial progenitor cells..CD31 - early endothelial marker also might be good.
VEGFR-2 is widely expressed on mesenchymal stem cells..
