D numbers are nothing but researchers, thought. I may add like this that after educating ourselves with multi-valued signal and GF(2**n) the modeling of systems with complex uncertainties are possible.

In the papers, a new combination rule has been proposed, and the calculations are explained clearly. In the next few days, a new work about D numbers theory will be released. I have the similar problem regarding the combination rule of the two D numbers. Can you explain the steps with the help of following example.

Example 4 (Deng et al. 2014)

D1 = {(0,0.7), (1,0.3)}

D2= {(0,0.6), (1,0.4)}

The combination of D1 and D2 using the above equations

D= {(0.0,0.325), (0.5,0.50), (1,0.175)}
