Has anyone had success in inducing senescence in H9c2 cells using hydrogen peroxide at low dosages (10uM -20uM) for 24 hours?
I am battling to induce senescence in this cell line and am wondering if anyone can provide some help or recommendations
Hello,
it's 30 mmol/L of H2O2 for 2 hours and then you will have Beta Gal positive cells 3 days after stimulation. Here is the paper

Good Luck
Dear Lina, Thank You for interesting suggestion, please check the units value.
Increasing the concentration of H2O2 to 150uM for 24 hours might help! I use this concentration for Human derived fibroblasts.
I'm a graduate student who works with an anaerobe, so I often work in an anaerobic chamber. I've been working on an assay that involves the steady-state of the quinone/ quinol pool. Anoxic...
