I used ANSYS explicit to solve a deformation problem, the set step time is 1s. I added a displacement boundary condition that linearly increased with time. But the total time in the solution is ~2E-3s, and it showed the problem is solved, the displacement is only 1/50 of the displacement I added. Rayah Nasr Al-Dala'ien Thanks for the detailed explanation. The displacement boundary condition I added was 1 after 1.0s, however, the solution just ended at 0.02s with ~0 displacement. What should I do to let it calculated the full time step?
