The monitor shows I have calculated 29 steps, but I can only see 7 steps from the results though the visualization. I use the abaqus 2018 explicit solver.

Check if you have requested Abaqus to provide an output for each run step and also make sure you define each step correctly.

Assogba Ogoubi Cyriaque Thank you for your suggestion, btw, how can I check if it provides an output for each step? I use the same step set-up for several .inp files, but some of them have the problem.
Haozhe Zhang Go to "Field Output Requests Manager" and "History Outpur Request Manager" to ensure that outputs are requested in your first run step and propagated to other steps. In addition, you need to define the frequency of these outputs. See the attached screenshot.
