It can be as a result of two reasons:

1st, license problem

2nd, you currently use a udf which is not parallel mode

Hello Kay Zia ,

I think newer fluent versions are not supporting the old serial solvers anymore. In some of the recent older versions you could try to force the old serial mode i.e. with "fluent 3ddp -t0", but I think that is not possible in the newest versions anymore. Maybe you can find out more in the ansys community forum (forum.ansys.com) or via asking ansys support directly.
