which method is preferred during protein extraction from bacterial source (gram positive bacteria) which will subsequently carried out for 2DE.

HI Bhavya,

For doing 2DE, phenol extraction is better than TCA/acetone method. Because phenol extraction will give you protein of good quality and quantity. All the best for your experiment.
