About the use of DNeasy® PowerSoil® Pro Kit and low concentration of DNA yeilds?

We used DNeasy® PowerSoil® Pro Kit (QIAGEN) to extract DNA from soil. However, the yeilds was very low and the concentration was at about 10ng/ul although we processed totally following the handbook. We can not figure out the reason. Can someone help us with this. Thanks a lot.
