LDH (lactate dehydrogenase) enzyme seems to be used as quantification of cell activity. my question is that : is it possible to use the LDH as an indicator of Sloppy feeding of zooplankton? as the sloppy feeding break the phytoplankton cells during feeding behaviour. I dont know if LDH enzyme could stay in water for how long, but curious if it could stay for more that 2 days after releasing, I think it will possible to use it , anyone could help me with that? please
