I have performed some analysis in ABAQUS/STANDARD on simple solid element using concrete damage plasticity as material with following definitions:
ELASTIC: YOUNG: 34.467 , POISSON: 0.2
CONCREDE DAMAGE PLASTICITY:
DILATION ANGLE: 36
ECCENTRICITY: 0.1
fb0/fc0=1.16
K=2/3
VISCOSITY PARAMETER: 0.1
Compressive and tensile behaviour and damage vs strains are defined as well as the attached .txt files inside zip directory. Abaqus model is attached too if you want try to perform the same analysis.
Varing value of displacement imposed to solid and plotting output U3 (from set node: CTRL) vs FR3 (from set node: MASTER) it happens that the curve changes as you can see within the attached PDF. It happens both tensile and compressive loads for different values of displacement.
How this can be possible?
