Numerous dyes available. Need a recommendation for a stable (~1-2 hrs) sensitive (sub-micromolar) dye in-vitro. Looking to measure enzymatic production of hydrogen peroxide from an oxidase enzyme, due to substrate interaction.
You can look for a compound named 10‐acetyl‐3,7‐dihydroxyphenoxazine. It is a colorless compound however it can be oxidized to resurofin in a H202/HRP- catalyzed reaction. Interestingly resurofin is highly fluorescent and can be easily detected using fluorescence and absorbance methods. It is highly sensitive.
