Observation of silver nano particle peak at 410 nm is maily due to spherical nanoparticles. Once the nanoparticle is having elliptical or rod type shape then one can get two peak due to transverse and longitudinal resonance. However position of peaks will be affected by the refractive index of surronding media around the nanoparticles.
What exactly the question is ? If you are asking that is it possible that AgNPs gives absorption at 350 nm ?
Then yes it is possible. Generally AgNPs with size of 3 to 5 nm will give absorption at 390 to 410 nm. but it depends on the size as well. larger particles can give absorption up to 450 nm.
in your case it is 350 nm, so i would suggest you to once check absorption of only capping or stabilizing agent. also try to filter your nanoparticles to to get uniform size and take TEM images. Also try to take XRD and if you get the peaks of Ag(0), then no need to worry about abosrption peak position. If all the above data shows positive result then it is completely okay to get absorption at 350 nm.
I agree with G. Vyas and V.N Rai. The size of AgNPs can alter in different environments and the size may reduce (i.e. leading to lower lambda max) as the aggregation potential decreases! I'll wonder about the shape of your AgNPs as the peak is in the UV region.
