is the concentration of gold salt that were added will affect on the peaks appeared.
i added a very little amount of gold salt to dope graphene oxide
and not all the peaks that proved the formation of gold nanoparticles appeared
only 38,44,64 and 77 occurred
but 81 did not appeared
and another sample were made with less amount than the first sample
and only the first 3 peaks appeared
is that mean the gold nanoparticles did not formed ?
The growth conditions may affect the size, shape and "crystal Quality of your gold nanoparticles. This may affect the intensity, the width and likely to a lesser extend the variation of the FWHM as function of 2Theta
As long as the reflection positions and the relative intensities remain the same you likely still have gold nanoparticles. Keep in mind that the reflection at 81 degrees(Copper Kalpha radiation) has much less intensity. It might be there but "hidden" in the noise. Run the diffraction experiment with long exposure times.
For these type of questions its also helpful to post a picture of your diffraction pattern.
The appearance of these signals means that their nanoparticles are preferentially growing with these crystallographic orientations
