Would you please recommend some phospho and tau antibodies for western blot analysis that best suit for human brain tissues? I had done my experiment with tau antibodies (Abcam) a couple of years ago in mice model with fine results but I am not pretty sure that it will work in human tissue. I have recently planed to do western blot for tau detection using human sample as well. I'll appreciate your kind suggestion and information. Thank you.

Based on my experiences, i recommend you to use antibody from Abcam. You can get multiple choices in Abcam bank. The antibodies work well. Although, the price comes a bit higher than the antibodies from other companies, it will pay off.

Thank you Lorenzo, There are are many isoforms for phospho tau that form neurotoxic neuro-fibrillary tangles. How could I confirm that particular one among many isoform would be specific for a Alzheimer's disease human tissue sample?
There is not a single specific form neither for the Alzheimer's disease , nor for all the possible samples. It depends from the analyzes and the target that you want detect.
