The recent pandemic virus has stalled the nations and also people. The scientific advancements in any area of science can not stop the virus. It means the World is undergoing purification process and the humans are taught a lesson by the Nature. Whether it may hit crops?
It is a good time to think that nature is on top of all forces. We, humans, are only a part of it. Just a single tiny virus is more than enough to wipe out the entire humanity, leaving no room to react. But it also gives us a hint that if we can slow down (furious development race) and work together to protect the environment, it also possible to reverse all damage done by humans within a very short time. From nature's perspective, I feel Corona as a cure. We are the disease.
I think country like India and other where cultivation is the prime culture practiced in every state and region may not hamper too much in future. Though COVID-19 affects the entire GDP of the country,but we can recovery it slowly and hope for the best.

Plant and animal viruses are very different. I don't know any virus which jumps between the 2 kingdoms. Coronavirus will certainly not jump to plants to cause damage. India may sleep peacefully in this case.

In Europe the damage is indirect. For the harvest, farmers depend on seasonal workers coming from other countries. In the absence of such workers tons of vegetables, flowers have been rotting in the fields.
Coronaviruses are not plant viruses, so I do not see how. Except it could kill off the population that has the technical know-how to cultivate a particular crop.
