we plan to induce colon cancer by injection. Cell lines derive from BDIX rats, but our experimental setting would favour SD rats. any experience?
An important question
Hello Viktor Justin
As I could understand, you are trying to establish a xenograft SD rat model using the colon cancer cell line derived from BDIX rat strain.
If it is so, the answer is yes.
It won't be a problem at all. In fact, we used human-derived colon cancer cells to develop the xenograft model.
Good luck!
