why zinc oxide nanoparticles degrade rapidly at low PH as compared to its degradation at high PH? if it is synthesized through green synthesis what will be mechanism for attached phytochemical release?

Amphoteric zinc oxide nanoparticles on their surface at pH < 7 have an equilibrium
1.ZnO < > Zn2+ + OH-
2. at pH>7 they have an equilibrium
ZnO < > Zn(OH)2
As can be seen, in the first case they dissolve, and in the second case they are protected from dissolution by a poorly soluble Zn(OH)2 film.
