I have prepared MA3Sb2I9 perovskite film on FTO employing two different approach. The XRD was same except absence of one peak in the MA3Sb2I9 prepared by two step method. For two step method i have used chlorobenzene as anti-crystallization solvent. Please suggest why trhis peak is absent.
you desired to have this phase ! but despite you put the same reagents, by changing the experimental conditions you may not have the same results and obviously the same phases. One can say that according the two step method you can't obtain the desired phase MA3Sb2I9 .

you deal with a film and not with a powder sample. So you most propably suffer from preferred orientation of your crystallites in your sample.
Preferred orientation leads to deviations of relative peak height distributions compared to that of a powder sample. In extreme cases a peak may completely vanish. You should use a spinning sample stage to reduce preferred orientation artifacts. But in case of a film residuals of preferred orientation artifacts may still be present.
If possible, you should mill your sample and perform a powder XRD measurement.
