I have recorded UV-vis spectra for dye adsorption using metal oxide.
Dye concentration= 200mg/L
Adsorbent= 25mg
The absorption peak was observed at 3.3 (intensity;a.u.) and it was absorbed with in 1h to 99.41%.
The formula i have used is qt = (C0 − Ct)V/m. I am confused what should be the C0 − Ct?
Please help me someone to calculate the adsorption capacity.
