Why there is a bubble formation in the working electrode during stability measurements for supercapacitors?

Initially there is no bubble. After few hours there is a bubble formation in the working electrode and sudden drop in the coulombic efficiency and increasing. what could be the reason? electrolyte medium is KOH.

The first thing to consider would be the formation of gas by a redox reaction. In presence of hydroxyde anions, it is possible to form oxygen or hydrogen. Therefore, more details about the present species in your system should be known.
