Attachment is the image of one H&E staining of human liver tissue. I confused why the color is brown? The other slides in the same chamber are OK, except this one.
Can someone tell me the reason for this result? Why the color is in brown?

You can see "brown" tissue, when it is necrotic, imbibated with blood, thick slided, crushed. And if the section is not coverslipped properly (or not at all) the colour is also darker than usual. As storage organ the liver can also be the place of too much iron.
But it may also be some drying artefact after hematoxylin staining. You can try to destain the section with acidified ethanol and begin from start.

I agree with lang..there are so many reasons for this colour variation.. Important among which lang has already mentioned... Try to destain and restain it... Hopefully it should fix it...
I completely agree with the above comments. there is also another reason. may be due to high temperature of embedding step. So check the melting point temp. of paraffin.
