Please consider that we are all normal human which need to know each other better and communicate friendly as the basic and essential social behavior. The score is not so important to many and we should not accuse our dear friends. I myself after hard working beside of many challenges need to remedy and enjoy friendship with my dear colleagues around the world and sometimes have some messages from others that they point out about their loneliness. Many other social factors direct me to have some learning beside of my own science and discipline.

Dear Ali, there are two reasons for asking general questions:

firstly, to create a discussion topic and have the answers of several people

or like Dear khaoula said for increasing RG score ( sincerly I totally disagree)

I will not answer your question Dr. Ali. but personally I enter in this type of discussions just to know the mentalities of the researchers around the world.

Dear Abderrahmane, I think my question has an idea and I have a goal for this question. You are free for not answer my question, however, why you are say about RG score !!

In think such questions are generally asked to get maximum response because it is easy to answer general questions on life, love and relationship.

Sorry, I remove the sentence on RG score. I don't have an exact answer to your question but I like to get in touch with researchers to know their way of thinking.

might be the the researcher who are asking these questions have area of specialization in socilogy, physicilogy , teaching methods, etc , and some other scientist to increase discussion among each other ask general question.

the low responce to typical scientific questions asked by researcher might be not clear or only specific expert give its opnion . As per my knowldge RG score is important for only RG not counts in pur promotions or get another benifit .

This improves the quality of idea exchanged between scientists

Just to increase the RG score

I see the described phenomenon only in RG. In my view it is a an act of sharing interests with others, also an act of compensation, because research is today rather specialized.

I totally agree with Dr. Parisa.

In fact, I prefer purely scientific questions but from tome to time it is nice to know something more on our RG-collegues, isn’t it? I have the impression that we form a kind of a group of friends. During a break in a scientific conference, we do not talk only on scientific things.

Love is a deep sense of affection and attraction to other people for the purpose of sustaining life and building relationships with other people around the world and communicating with them for the purpose of presenting ideas among friends and researchers, because one of the main reasons for exchanging ideas is to strengthen social relations with others

The social element is equally important. It provides the lubricant for our research undertakings.

Our questions are not limited to social subjects only but in many cases they covers different issues.

Somehow I agree with you. However, reading the answers , I can feel that they are from intellectual people and have sense. I am learning a lot about social sciences, psychology and faith.

Scientists are supposed to carry out research work in their respective fields.

But they are also human beings. If they share and discuss some social factors then certainly they will be able to solve their problems. Thereby they will enhance their social learning in addition to their respective research and will be get benefited in some way.

Moreover, social science plays a significant role in the improvements of someone personality. It also teaches us a better way of living. So I think it is good if general questions are being floated by the scientist in addition to their research problems.

RG is a better platform, since numbers of eminent and worthy colleagues are here to help each other in all fields related with science, engineering, social science, etc.

You see, research by nature is limitless and it may deal with love, life, relationship, natural science, etc and RG members are raising such kinds of questions not only to widen their knowledge and understanding about the issues but also to use the information and data as an input for their research activities.

More over, as scientists are also human beings, they want to know more about life, love, relationships, etc for having smart life in this interesting world.

Dear Ali Benhmidene, I hope you are more clear why scientists are raising such issues in this platinium networking platform, RG.

The holistic view of the world is very useful for research. Scientists, before any professional label, are people with feelings and aspirations. Knowing a little about human beings makes scientists stronger and more focused on their research. To ask in your area is also part, but often the return is deficient because the level of questioning may not make the others comfortable. Therefore, any inquiry or curiosity of the citizen will show a more human scientist.

About posting answer:

Personally, I try to post my comment in response to any technical question of my field of specialisation, if I know the answer.

But such questions are very few in number.

The cumulative number of questions of all other fields (different branches of science, society, psychology, environment etc.) are far more in number and so I get more number of such questions to answer.👍

About asking questions:

I always try to ask such questions in RG which can help to develop a little consciousness about the topic. It is not the case that I do not know the answer of these questions in all the cases, but I like to share idea of other scientists.

Sure scientists are scientists in particular field but have not specialisation to live with artistic way, not having art to solve problems, not having art to harmonise with society and relationships.

I 100% agree with dear Dr Parisa Ziarati and thank her and all other scientists!

It is good to be connected with other researchers who are not necessarily in your field. besides, if you discuss with specialists in your field only, you will not interact much. some fields of specialization do not have many members on researchgate

Totally agree with all colleagues, especially Parisa and Abderrahman.

However, I have bad news, and I hope my opinion shall be wrong, but - unfortunately - it is a de facto:

Frankly speaking, scientists may not share critical details in subjects in their scientific fields, because of intellectual properties. Why a scientist share details or results of his/her work with others? He/she may think to make some publication, or something like that.

One of RG members has mentioned (in an answer to a question) that: we present out ideas and results in our field, and others take it and make benefits with it.

I do not agree with what I said, but it is a de-facto. Though I believe that "The lesion of science is to hide it".

Come on colleagues, proof that may idea is wrong, but practically.
