In my university(Baghdad university) summer holiday starts at the first of July and ends at the first of September.

In our University (GJUS&T, Hisar, Haryana, India) holiday period generally lies between 20th May to 30th June (summer season).

here in Karachi Pakistan summer break is of 2 months from June 1st to 1st August every year because of hot weather and temperature crosses from 35 to 50 even.

In Indian condition the summer holiday having different time but i enjoyed it from 14 May to 12 June .....:) :) :) :)

Thanks dear Indian colleagues. I want to understand if the hot weather in July and August don't disturb students or it's cold in this month. Here we stop all teaching activity for July and August. It start at first or the middle of September. Thanks to clarified this step.

In our university ( Andhra University) summer holidays from 1st May to 30th June. In general higher temperature may be some problematic during this period. Further no holidays for research scholars and administrative staff. But so many teaching faculty regularly attending for their research activities.

In Algeria, summar holiday starts July , fiveth inchallah and ends the first of September. We have above two month of vacations. Actually, it's the time of thesis and memories defenses.

In our University ( Basrah University) summer holiday starts from 1st July to 31th August. So no holiday for deans and heads of departments.
