Why questran 1gm tablet was cancelled from market after 3 yrs of sell in 1999?

This tablet was used in the treatment of jaundice, containing cholestyramine resin. launched in 1996 but after 3 yrs it was terminated but cholestyramine suspension is still in market so why tablet had cancelled?
