I have synthesized silver nanoparticles by using bacterial extracellular components as the reducing agent. After confirming the presence of AgNPs in our samples I'v tested the resulted colloid in bacteria but I didn't get any bactericidal action. any help with this issue please?

You use freshly prepared nanoparticles. After preparation centrifuge it, then re-dispersed it in deionized water and check for antibacterial activity.

Check your detection system (strains) sensitivity and the medium of test is important, in disc diffusion assay it usually not work.
Check the dispersing of the particles in the colloidal medium,use another kinds of bacteria and use another method to detect the antibacterial effect
It depends on the nature of the bacterial strain used, nature of medium used,concentration of colloid used and hence its diffusion in medium used, Consequently I think a preliminary work is needed to check your work necessities.
