Why is the crystallite size increased in case of doping and while doing in computational way the lattice parameters decreases in doped ? how ?

From xrd we found the crystallite size of doped material is increased but in the case of theoretical analysis (Rietveld refinement) the lattice parameters of doped material was reduced compared with pure sample. why & How?
