This is a medical query and I am sharing two related articles.

  • "Resist that midnight snack attack" (The Times of India, Oct 16, 2012)
  • "Why late-night snacking Is bad for you?" (Alice G. Walton, Jun 28 2012, The Atlantic)
  • The articles cited point the health risks involved in the late night snacking. This is an important topic for those who work for long hours all through the date in meeting many deadlines, and have the habit of snacking (tea, biscuits, peanuts, ice-cream, cake, donuts, potato or corn chips, etc). I have heard of some friends who stay up late in the nights to watch some sports or blockbuster movies on TV.
