While we all know about h-index, I understand that there is also an i-10 index.
I understand that i-10 index is created by Google Scholar and used in Google's My Citations feature.
i10-Index = the number of publications with at least 10 citations. This very simple measure is only used by Google Scholar, and is another way to help gauge the productivity of a researcher.
Do we need to consider both h-index and i-10 index of a researcher to assess productivity and reputation or just h-index (Scopus) will do?!

Its number of research papers cited 10 times is perhaps i10 which is indicated in My citation database of Google.
This index is created by Google Scholar and used in Google's My Citations feature.
i10-Index = The number of publications with at least 10 citations.
h index corresponds to a scientist's h of his/her N papers that have been cited at least h times each, while the rest of the N papers have less than h citations each.
i10 index refers to the number of paper with 10 or more citations.

The i10 index seems very interesting to me as a complement to the h index because for instance if people have the same h index they can have very different h ind'ex . The highest i 10 index indicates that one's have a lot more publications which received a significant interest.
To be more complete when comparing i 10 index and h index we must also compare the number of years span by the publications . If the number of years is close and i 10 index different between 2 people thus the difference of i 10 index gives some interesting view.

I think that is is wise to evaluate scholarly work in multiple dimensions. So H-Index and i10 are both valid measures.
But, for example, analysis can also be performed by evaluating the prestige of the journals, and a few articles in prestigious journals might outwith many publications in low-quality journals.
You could also actually evaluate the quality of the research design and analysis, which would be more subjective and qualitative.
I think that multiple forms of evaluation gives a better picture of quality than one single metric.

Simply put, it is the number of publications that the researcher has written that have at least 10 citations.
There are many variations of the original h-index, but it has stood the test of time as a measure of research quality that purports to balance the number of publications against citations per paper.
The use of 10 in the i-10 index is entirely arbitrary, and could easily be extended to i-20, i-30, ..., none of which would have any optimality properties.
In the absence of an accepted ranking of research quality metrics, a larger number of such metrics allows researchers to pick and choose what they might find appealing to suit their strategy.
