I'm currently using two previously constructed polyclonal antibodies to test for the virus neutralization assay. Prior to the study, I tried  immunofluorescence staining and both yield positive results. When I tested on Westen blot, the first one yield nothing but second one yield the expected band size. When I used them to test in virus neutralization assay, they didnt seem to inhibit any of the viral growth.

Can somebody tell me the reason behind this? Thanks.
