Hi, currently i am studying the different structures of MnO2 and i do a BET surface analysis to see the BET surface area. For my synthesized material alpha-mno2 has a BET surface area of 122, beta-mno2 is about 52, while delta mno2 is about 227. However, in the reference paper( i use the exact synthesis method in the paper) the alpha mno2 is about 95, while beta mno2 is about 122, while delta is quite similar about 230. Is it normal to have some disrespancies with the synthesized material even when using the same synthesis material with the reference paper?

Thank You For your help.
