The request for a copy of one of my papers supposedly came from Samuel T. Durrance the noted astrophysicist and NASA astronaut. It came with a picture of him, which I recognized, since I knew Sam and worked on two NASA Space Shuttle missions that he flew on.
However, it's a matter of public record that Sam Durrance died in 2023, so who really made this request and what is their real intent. (See his Wikipedia article, or Google his obituary.)
