I am studying the effect of a vegetable extract (hydroalcoholic) on the DU-145 cell line of prostate cancer.
We observed that at 4000 μg / ml of the extract the cell increased in size as shown in the image. The test you perform is proliferation by exclusion with trypan blue. What happened to the cell?
I will appreciate your advice and observations, I am new in this area.

Hi Oscar, what does the negative control look like? That is cells treated with the extraction solution alone without the hydroalcoholic compound.

Hi Oscar, interesting. The cells look very different morphologically and the treated cells have a blue nucleus. Are they stained differently?
if only those that are dead are stained.
But I do not understand why the cells swelled at that concentration, I would have expected them to burst :(
