Why does not CyclinD1 expression change in MDA-MB-231 cells, even when I see the cells trapped are in G0/G1 phase of the cell cycle ?

After my treatment, I can see that most of the cells are trapped in G0/G1 phase of cell cycle. But when I probe my cell lysates against Antibody of CyclinD1 in westernblots, I do not see a reduced expression of CyclinD1. What could be the possible reason?

I am not an expert but red the article below :

Cyclin D1 is supposed to be expressed at high levels during G1 phase and only when the cell transits to the S-phase it's phosphorylation should promote degradation. If your cells are trapped in G1 , then I would not expect immediately a low level .... eventually after a day or several days as the cell adapts and enters into quiescent state ...
