Dogs begets several puppies every time , while sheeps and goats beget much less, we kill about one billion of sheeps and goats annually, but still number of sheeps and goats is higher than dogs globally? What is behind that?
Sheep and goats are often raised for their meat, milk, wool, and other products. They are valuable for agriculture and provide various resources that humans use, leading to their widespread breeding and larger populations.
But dogs are a lot beloved by millions of people and raise them in a very nice life! But still much less than sheeps and goats!! Regards

One will always find sheep and goats in higher numbers because they are kept together in large numbers and encouraged to reproduce so that man ensures that he gets a constant supply of meat, milk, and wool.
On the other hand, one does not notice dogs moving about in groups just as goats and sheep do. Agreed, that dogs are beloved of millions of people, and they are raised in a very nice way. But dogs litter more often and in quite substantial amount, and this may cause a problem to many. One would not like dogs littering all over the place.
Moreover, very few dogs are encouraged to reproduce. Therefore, the number of offspring in case of dogs will be far much less than sheep and goat even though dogs beget several puppies every time.

Hello, one of the reasons is that the number of sheep is more than dogs despite their slaughter. Due to the restriction of dog breeding in many Islamic countries, it is because the meat of this animal is forbidden and impure. And today, due to the large number of Muslim countries, this restriction exists. But sheep are widely propagated and raised in all religions because of their benefits in milk, meat and wool production.
The reason for the large population of sheep and goat compared to dogs is that high number of sheep and goat are raised in the world due to their contribution to food and raw materials(skin,horn, hooves, wool etc) and as storage of wealth whereas less number of dogs are kept for security and companionship.
The benefits derived from keeping sheep and goat is far more greater than that of dog and that is evident in their population across the world.
