Hey,
recently I have observed high numbers of cells having lines coming or ending at the center of the cells (human lymphocytes) on my slides, sometimes even several per cell, while the direction is random and changing from cell to cell and slide to slide. Especially my negative Controls (PBS) are highly affected.
Some of these lines do even have a bend.
Can anyone answer this quesion?

I guess you might have slightly (may be difficult to notice ) damaged the gel during well preparation.....
It is strange, though, that these lines always origin or end at the cells.

In our lab we sometimes have similar lines. The damage of cells during pulling off a cover glass after applying a agarose with cells on your slide may be the reason of this.
