thank you ; according to your question this is due to different in their distribution coefficient of each molecule ( solubility ) you have different organic compounds therefore you have different behave .(type of solvent dispersion , size of sample , volume of solvent and the time all of these factors effect on the method of separation.

Thank you, I think molar absorptivity is also affect on the UV signal of my compounds. I mean the larger the molar absorptivity, the higher the peak area(Concentration).
