I found methods for diagnosis of Chikungunya virus in patient serum samples? However, there was only IgM ELISA for available diagnosis. In case of Dangue, there were several rapid kits for antibody and antigen also. Why there was no antigen test for diagnosis?

There is a recent publication in Journal of Clinical Microbiology title Detection of chikungunya virus antigen by a novel rapid immunochromatographic test. The test is useful for patients in acute phase compare to PCR with a sensitivity of 89.4% and specificity of 94.4%
