I have some rectal cancer stem cells that I started in NTCT p100s - they were doing great and finally started expanding quickly so I moved them to a NTCT flask (after Tryp-LE dissociation at 37C for 3 min) and the next day I saw many adherent groups of round, cells with the typical stem cell morphology... But also some cells that looked more epithelial and flat.

Why are the stem cells adhering to the non-tissue-culture-treated flasks?
