It is very strange that the MCF-7 and A431 cells i have grow well in T25 flask but when i culture them in T75 flask, they form this strange clumping and irregular growth like patches of cells.
I even de-froze a new batch of these cells and they behaved the same. So i borrowed cells from others and still i am observing the same behaviour. Can anybody help me with understanding whats happening?

Do u have this flask from the same producer? Tray to use higher density of cells for bigger flask.

I also think you should try seeding a higher density of cells in the bigger flasks. Sounds like they are spread to thin and form colonies - you could just trypsinize them and seed them again.

sorry. i found out that my group my mistake ordered non-treated flasks instead of treated ones. so the entire problem was based on a small misunderstanding. thanks a lot though for all your contributions. And now the cells are growing good in these treated flasks.
