I have prepared Silver nanoparticles from lemon juice extract (9:1). I have performed their antibacterial activity with DH5 alpha and S.aureus. Nanoparticles gave inhibition zones with both bacteria's. But the real problem is with DPPH antioxidant activity. The first problem is the solubility of Agnps in methanol. Nanoparticles don't dissolve in methanol they remain dispersed. And i have tried performing antioxidant 3-4 times but the absorbance value of sample solution (sample + DPPH sol) always remain higher than the control sample ( DPPH +METHANOL sol.)

Let's say maybe there are no nanoparticles in my samples but these same samples gavr antibacterial activity. So guide me where is the problem?
