Ideal teacher has an more inclination for the career , & development for the student .His mind & his progressive mode of thinking may always move to the direction for the welfare of the student. Teacher of this progressive way of thinking obviously remains an ideal teacher .

As an English speaker learning French, I learned more from native speakers of French. I learned more vocabulary, more culture, and a better accent from them. However, all my teachers had knowledge of grammar. If a native speaker is hired who has not studied the grammar of his or her own language, that teacher will not be as good.
As a native English speaker who tried to teach ESL informally to elderly people in the community who had moved here, I found that without taking classes in systematic grammar, I sometimes knew which word was correct but could not explain why. I could teach conversational English, but could not teach English fully.
An excellent teacher or educator is that who knows his specialy so well,sure of his statements, humble,teachs morality to his/ her students,because we do need a better society through the new generation of our newly graduated staff. A good educator has never ever do any discrimination among students because of race,color, religion...etc. Regards.
both NES and NNES teachers have unique strengths. The "ideal" English language teacher is not solely determined by their native language but by a combination of their skills, understanding, training, and ability to connect with and inspire their students. The best approach might be to provide EFL students with a mix of both, capitalizing on the strengths of each.
The ideal teacher is the one who cares about his/ her students, and is always willing to help. Being native or non-native does not matter as long as the teacher does his/her job properly.
