There are a couple of random variables that have support on (0, +Inf). Examples are variables with a log-normal and a gamma distribution. The support of a random variable with Pareto distribution is [scale, +Inf), so it does not contain zero if scale > 0. Another example is the uniform distribution with min,max > 0 or min,max < 0 and other distributions with at least one bound that can be shifted to not include 0.
