I prepared alginate nanocapsules as pellet followed by centrifuge. After removing supernatant, Now I have these capsules. My goal is to give alginate nanocapsules as liquid to broilers. Which solvent do you think is suitable to disperse these solid particles not dissolve (breakdown) capsules? notice that sodium citrate is used to breakdown the calcium alginate.

if you want to keep your particles alive, just add some calcium chloride (5-10mM should be enough) in the solution you want to disperse them.

Is concentration of CaCl2 solution important?
I have to care broilers electrolytes. So, I think 0.1 M is OK.

0.1M is more than enough! just in case, you can prepare some big particles (by dropping the alginate solution in calcium chloride) and then see if they survive in 0.1 M CaCl2.

Why do not try in magnesium chloride solution ? See what happens if you do this.
