Nobody I know thinks that matter is 'a format of low frequency low vibratory energy'. If it were, how do you explain charge or spin? Let alone mass.

Nikola Tesla combined, configured his electrical works so as to tap into Quasar energy and light a field of light bulbs, I'm not sure he knew of the source of his energy supply. View his patents of energy.

Quasars do emit more than a substantial energy.

The consideration is to tap into that energy so it can be utilized.

I'm deeply familiar with mass-energy equivalence (I was taught GR by Lewis Ryder at Canterbury University) - but you are miss-characterizing that equation.

It does not mean that an arbitrary mass can, practically, be converted into energy. It states that there is a corresponding mass associated with a given energy in a system - and vice versa. Realizing either of those is a non-trivial matter - and certainly waving some irradiated Bakelite at an object is not going to do anything.
