My model flattens an spherical (step 1) and then a tangential displacement is applied (step 2). The force in tangential direction is measured as the outcome. I have solved the model (2 steps) in both explicit and implicit and verify my model with my reference. This would work for low loads (0.5 wc) however if i want to use much higher loads (72 wc) the computer cost is expensive (2 days for implicit).
To make it efficient, and since i may add another "must be" implicit analysis in the middle, i want to do the first step with implicit solver and then apply tangential load in explicit one. But, the tangential load drops when i import the results (predefined field, type: stress) from implicit to explicit, i would appreciate any suggestion on how i can solve this issue.
